The Clay Art Studios of the Hamptons provide a fully equipped, permanent space for hands-on learning in the beautiful town of Water Mill located in eastern Long Island, NY.

The Old Mill Studio

the old mill studio is located right next to the 18th century landmark water mill museum. this studio offers quaint historic charm and a beautiful waterview. it houses 4 electric wheels and 1 electric kiln. outside, you can find the only community gas kiln located on the eastern end of long island. read more about our kiln offerings here.
The Square Studio

the square studio is located right behind the Water Mill Post Office, and within walking distance of local east end shops and restaurants. This studio offers a spacious work area, 7 electric wheels and 2 electric kilns. read more about our kiln offerings here.

the studios offer an array of tools, books, glazes, equipment, workspace and overall sense of community.
Independent Studio Time
you must be a student or a member to book studio time. read more about becoming a member HERE.
independent studio time is available at the mill studio or the square studio 7 days a week.
the mill studio is limited to 4 people maximum per time slot.
the square studio is limited to 8 people maximum per time slot.

• PRICING FOR STUDENTS: STUDIO TIME IS INCLUDED IN CLASS FEES
• PRICING FOR MEMBERS WHO ARE ALSO SHELF RENTERS: COMPLIMENTARY

Shelf Space Rental
you must be a member to rent a shelf. read more about becoming a member HERE.
shelf space is available to rent at the old mill studio for a monthly fee OF $225 PER SHELF AND INCLUDES STUDIO TIME
each shelf measures approximately 3 ft x 1 ft
if you are taking a class, shelf space is included for the duration of the class session. read more about the classes we offer HERE.
