Asia Society Tour

First Under Heaven – Korean Ceramics
This exhibition features radiant Goryeo-period bowl-and-saucer sets and a handsome vase with broad shoulders. Also included are examples of the 6th through 9th century stonewares that preceded these extraordinary glazed works, as well as underglaze cobalt blue porcelains that usurped the status of the earlier celadons in Korea.

Tea & Cookies Special Benefit for the Clay Art Guild

Our annual fundraiser for the Clay Art Guild. We will serve special teas and homemade cookies. Patrons will take home their mug, teacup or tea bowl. Other tea items will be on exhibit for sale. All donations of tea bowls, teacups and mugs are welcome and can be fired for free in the May 4th kiln firing. Volunteers and donors, please contact Celadon at 631-726-2547.

Empty Bowls A Luncheon Benefit for the Water Mill Museum

100 handmade pottery soup bowls, donated by the potters of the Clay Art Guild of the Hamptons, Inc.. Homemade soups, bread, drinks and dessert will be served. There will be a free firing for all donated bowls on Sunday 9/28- Kiln stacking Saturday 9/27. Volunteers and bowl donors, please contact Celadon.

There will be space for 15 outdoor and indoor tables. We will supply the tables, advertising and signs. Each potter will staff and decorate their own table.
