Met Tour & Luncheon

A ceramics tour at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  We’ll have lunch, a muesum walking tour and a guided tour the new Islamic Wing,  Transportation, museum admission, audio guides and lunch costs not included.

Coffee House Blues Benefit

The Clay Art Guild's annual fundraiser. This year we will also be raising funds to help support the Haygorund School . There will be live music and wonderful coffee donated by the Hampton Coffee Company. Handmade cups and mugs donated by our members will be filled with your choice of coffee. All donations of cups and mugs are welcome and can be fired for free in any gas kiln firing. Volunteers and donors, please contact Celadon.

The Potter's Art

In JULY this year, we'll set up our tents on the grounds of the Bridgehampton Historical Socitey Archives. There will be exhibitors, demonstrations and children's activites. We supply advertising and signs. Potters bring their own tents or they can share a tent with another potter.  If you don’t have a tent, we have one or two to loan.  Potters will set up their own displays.

RAKU FESTIVAL - NEW for 2012!

A festival of Raku Art: Firings, Gallery Show, Demonstrations and Sales. A month long event celebrating the Art of Raku. There will be a Gallery show with 8 members and 2 visiting artists - Denis Licul and Bill Shillalies. The opening reception will be a Celadon Sunday with gallery talks and a slide show. Two firing workshops and one faciltated firing for experiences Raku artists will be held at Hayground School during the month. All of these firing events will be open to the public to come and watch the "magic of Raku". There will be raku pots for sale on site.

Bowls of Plenty A Luncheon Benefit for the Water Mill Museum

100 handmade pottery soup bowls, donated by the potters of the Clay Art Guild. Homemade soups, bread, drinks and dessert will be served. There will be a free firing for all donated bowls in any gas kiln firing. Volunteers and bowl donors, please contact Celadon.
